MCP server

Make images and videos from inside your AI assistant

Add Create to Claude, ChatGPT or any app that speaks MCP. Ask for a picture or a clip in plain words and your assistant makes it with your credits and hands you the link.

Server address
https://create.vin/api/mcp

What you can ask for

Five tools show up in your assistant. You do not call them yourself, you just ask.

Pictures

Ask for a lighthouse at dusk in 16:9. The assistant runs create_image and sends back the link.

Videos

Ask for waves rolling onto a beach. create_video starts it, and the assistant checks until it is ready.

Credits and history

Ask how many credits are left, or what you made recently. These lookups cost no credits.

ToolCreditsWhat it does
create_imageSpends creditsMakes a picture from a text prompt and returns a link to it.
create_videoSpends creditsStarts a video from a prompt, optionally from a starting picture, and returns an id.
get_generationNo creditsLooks up one picture or video by id: pending, complete or failed, and the link when it is ready.
list_my_generationsNo creditsLists the 20 most recent things made on the account, newest first, with links.
get_creditsNo creditsShows the credits left on the account and this key's daily limit.

Connect in three steps

Pick your app below for the exact setup.

  1. 1

    Make a key

Sign in at create.vin and make an API key on a paid plan. It is shown once, so copy it.

  2. 2

    Add the server

Point your app at https://create.vin/api/mcp and send the key as an Authorization header.

  3. 3

    Ask

Say "check my Create credits" to confirm it works, then ask for a picture.

  1. Make a key (link below), then run this in a terminal with your key in place of the placeholder.
  2. Ask Claude to check your Create credits. It should answer with your balance.
Terminal
claude mcp add --transport http create https://create.vin/api/mcp \
  --header "Authorization: Bearer crk_live_YOUR_KEY"

There is also a step by step page with a button that tests your key: create.vin/connect/mcp.

How credits and caps work

Your assistant spends your account's credits, so there are limits it cannot pass.

Credits come from your plan

There is no separate balance for MCP. Pictures and videos cost the same credits as in the app.

A daily cap on every key

Each key has a daily credit cap, 500 to start and up to 5,000. It resets at 00:00 UTC. A call that would pass it is refused.

200 credits at most per call

One MCP call never costs more than this, so an assistant cannot spend a big balance in a single step.

30 requests a minute per key

Every request counts, lookups included. Past the limit the server tells the assistant to wait.

Plans

The MCP server is for paid plans, the same as the API.

Any paid plan works, and its credits are the ones your assistant spends. You can have up to 5 active keys per account, and you can revoke a key whenever you want, for example when you stop using an app.

For developers

The server speaks MCP over streamable HTTP. Each JSON-RPC message is one POST, and answers are plain JSON.

curl
curl https://create.vin/api/mcp \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer crk_live_YOUR_KEY" \
  -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
  -d '{"jsonrpc": "2.0", "id": 1, "method": "tools/call",
       "params": {"name": "get_credits", "arguments": {}}}'

The server accepts POST requests only and does not allow calls from other websites, so keys are not exposed to web pages. Use it from a desktop app, a terminal or a server.

Get your API key

One key works for the MCP server and the REST API. Set a low daily cap, connect your app and start asking.
