Write Screenwriting: scene list, index cards, cast and reports
Open the left panel with the panel button at the left of the toolbar. It has three tabs: Navigator, Beat Board and Cast. The right panel has Notes, Reports and AI.
Navigator is the scene list. Click a scene to jump to it, move a scene up or down, or omit a scene to leave it out of the count and the numbers. You can restore it later.
Beat Board shows each scene as an index card. Write a short summary on the card, give it a colour label (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple or grey), and reorder the cards to reorder the scenes.
Cast lists every character in the script. Pick a name to highlight their lines. Reports, in the right panel, shows Characters, Locations and Scenes, including how many scenes are interior or exterior and day or night.
