Write Document: styles, tables, images and find
Document mode looks like a printed page. Use the Styles menu to turn a line into a Title, Heading 1, 2 or 3, Body, Quote or Code. The format panel has Bold, Italic, Underline, Strikethrough, font size, text colour, alignment, line spacing and Bullets and lists.
The Insert menu adds a table, a link, an image from your files, a horizontal line or a page break. A table can have up to 50 rows and 20 columns. An image can be up to 12 MB.
The View menu switches between Page view and Continuous, picks the paper size, zooms, and shows or hides the ruler. The status bar shows the page and word count.
Press Ctrl+F (Cmd+F on a Mac) to find. Open Replace to change one match or all of them.
Your document is saved to your account as you write. If you are logged out, nothing is saved to the server, so log in first. If a save fails, a copy is kept in this browser and offered back next time.
