Tools
Write Screenwriting: import, export, pages and minutes
The toolbar has three file buttons. Import opens a Final Draft file (.fdx) from your computer and turns it into a script. FDX saves your script as a Final Draft file (.fdx) that you can open in other script programs. PDF makes a PDF of the script.
Imports can be up to 8 MB. If a file will not open, check that it is a .fdx file.
The bar at the bottom shows the page you are on, the total pages, about how many minutes the script runs, and the number of scenes. A script page is counted as about one minute, so the minutes are an estimate.
My scripts, at the left of the toolbar, lists the scripts you have started so you can open or start another. Screenwriting scripts are saved in this browser, as the Saved in this browser message says, so use the FDX or PDF buttons to keep a copy elsewhere.
