API key problems and what the MCP can do

"That API key is not valid" means the key was copied wrongly, was revoked, or is not from your account. Copy all of it. We cannot show a key again, so if you lost it, revoke it and make a new one in Connect.

"API access needs a paid plan" means your plan has ended. Keys work again when you have a paid plan.

If a call stops with a daily cap message, that key has used its daily credit cap (500 to start, up to 5,000). Raise the cap on the key in Connect or wait for the next day. A call that would cost more than 200 credits is refused, and more than 30 requests a minute on one key are slowed down.

Through MCP, Claude or ChatGPT can make a picture, make a video, look up a result, list your recent results and check your credits. Everything spends your credits like the app does, and a failed call is not charged.
